Filthy Gorgeous Poodles
I went to Peoria, Illinois this weekend for a 4-day dog show. I took Legba, Fergie, and the puppies. We’ve been going to class when we can and training for conformation since 10 weeks. I’m completely blown away at what happened. In one weekend, Riott earned 2 out of 3 legs of his champion title! Sixxie, she did even better. She earned 2 group 1’s and a Best in Show! It’s also worth noting that her group 1 wins were in a group with the number 1 companion dog last year. She placed in a large and impressive companion group every time. I see bright things for my little phantom girl. Fergie earned a group 4 this weekend and Legba got 2 best of breeds.
Huge congratulations to Syrena Creecy on finishing Dulcera's champion title! She is now UCH PN URO1 Filthy Gorgeous Sweet N’ Sour Spot-On and now has 3 Total Dog awards!
Congrats to Morgan on obtaining Astra's champion title! Way to Go!
Congrats Syreena and Dulcera on their total dog win!
We went to Marshfield, MO on Saturday 10/14/2023 . Poppa Legba got his first Reserve Best In Show!

What a fun weekend! Cathy showed her dogs including Billie Jean/Leia in brace. They looked so good together. Mother and daughter. Leia also earned her first grand leg. Totally nuts cause that class was HUGE and she’s only 11 months old.
I showed Legba, Fergie, and Katie. Legba earned a group 4, while Fergie earned her champion title, 2 best of breeds, a group 2 and a group 3.

Legba rocked it at the Middle Georgia Kennel Club Labor Day shows! There were 8 shows and Legba was Best of Breed 7 out of those 8!! He also earned a Group 1 and 2 Group 3's along the way! Special thanks to Cathy Nelson for letting him ride along and showing him for me!
Leia and Dulceria had a great weekend as well! Laia was earned her new Champion title and Dulceria was reserve to her sister. Both girls earned their Spot-On test as well! Congrats to Cathy and Syreena on their achievements!
As of 4/30/2023 Hero earned his Emerald Grand Champion title!! He's my first gemstone titled dog that I bred myself! So exciting! Thank you Cathy for doing such great things with Hero!
I drove 15 hours to attend the United Poodle Association Regional Specialty 4/6/2023 and the King NC cluster of shows 4/8 to 4/10. The specialty had 120 Poodle entries!
Legba is now a Specialty Best of Breed winner! This is a huge accomplishment! I am so proud of him! He also earned multiple Grand Champion class wins, BOB's and breed points.
Homer is now a UKC Champion! He not only finished his UKC title but also went Best of Breed over all the champions and grand champions earning breed points for the Top 10!
We went to UKC Midwest Classic over the weekend of 3/4 and 3/5. What an experience!? Legba got 2 group 2’s and a group 1. He’s such a show dog. I’m so very proud of this guy.
I also showed Latto, my Billie Jean daughter in the puppy class. She got 3rd place in her class against some very nice girls.
Cathy and Hero were a great team in obedience and earned a High In Trial!
I had a great weekend at the Longview Texas shows and have so much to be proud of! Legba took champion class all weekend and completed his UKC grand championship. Wishes gained another leg towards her grand. She needs 2. She’s been showing less than a year. Angus championed this weekend. Homer started his UKC career and finished the weekend with 2/3 the wins towards his champion. Lastly, Fergie started showing and did great. She’s just 6 months to the day and she dove in with her typical sass and energy.
In the bred by department, Cathy and Hero did rally and confo. Hero gained an emerald leg, 2 grand class wins, and a total dog.
Morgan and Omen got a couple best males getting him halfway to his championship. They’re do so well together.

We ended the year with so much accomplished. We have 2 new grand champions, Rico and Blanca. I have a bred by champion, Stetson shown by his owner Sam, and a bred by Grand Champion, Hero shown by his owner Cathy. Hero achieved so many new titles this year, International, conformation, performance, and obedience, too many to list. Jennifer started showing my bred by girl, Lizzo, in AKC. I championed 3 new dogs this year as well, Chili, Legba, and Wishes. I’ve nearly championed Katie Gurl. We’ve got 3 puppy best in shows out of bred by’s in Angus and Ahoska. We did all this in very limited showing.
I’m so proud of what these dogs have done and so thankful for the friends I’ve trusted with my dogs and the friends who’ve sent me dogs.
